The world’s first assessment of the social impacts (positive and negative) that a train has during its life cycle was made by Circular Srl for Trenitalia S.p.A.‘s Blues hybrid train produced by Hitachi Rail. In addition, the first SPD (Social Product Declaration) is being drafted, which is based on the already existing model of the EDP (Environmental Product Declaration) that aims to schematise the LCA process of a product.
La prima valutazione, al mondo, degli impatti sociali (positivi e negativi) che un treno ha durante il proprio ciclo di vita, è stata fatta da Circular Srl per il treno ibrido Blues di Trenitalia S.p.A. prodotto da Hitachi Rail. Inoltre si sta lavorando alla stesura della prima SPD (Social Product Declaration), che si basa sul modello già esistente della EDP (Environmental Product Declaration) che ha come obiettivo la schematizzazione del processo di LCA di un prodotto.
